Below are some quick pictures of the studio. More will be added as we have them.

Control Room Control Room Control Room

The studio has been designed with two large windows. A space between them will be for vocals - the singer can been seen between the band and the control room, but with good audio isolation.

As our previous studio, all tracking is via a high quality TAC Scorpion, either digitised to Alesis HD24 digital hard disk or direct to Cubase on the studio PC. We can also record direct to 24 track 1" tape if preferred.

This new space is still in development but as can be seen, we are nearly there.

These photos, added on 20th October, show the recent studio developments. Technically the studio operates perfectly, but we have been waiting for the doors to be fitted.

As can be seen the doors a now fitted awaiting final door furniture and finishing touches.

All doors are full spec fire doors, very dense and heavy predominantly to assist with sound insulation.

The studio windows are laminated sound deadening glass, with 4" to 6" gap. The vocal booth is between the two rooms.

The live room and control room are now fully fitted with 100mm custom sound deadening rockwool. A further sloping ceiling is to be fitted to the control room to

reduce reflections, and depending on the sound, the rooms will be treated using acoustic tiles etc.

100mm Rockwool insulation between all joists... More of that disgusting rockwool stuff!

Watch this space for more developments!
